Gemma Calvert BSc DPhil

Founding Partner
Gemma spent 4 years in the
marketing industry as an
account executive for FKB
Carlson before returning to
academe. She has a Bachelors
degree in Psychology from
the London School of
Economics, and DPhil in
Functional Brain Imaging
from the University of
Oxford where she
subsequently established and
directed a specialist
neuroimaging lab until 2004.
Her unique career path led
her to found Neurosense in
1999. She was appointed to a
Full Professorship at the
University of Warwick in
2007 and has over 15 years
experience in the commercial
application of modern brain
imaging methods for
marketing and manufacturing.
She was recently appointed
as a Fellow of the Royal
Society for Arts and
Business in recognition of
her pioneering work in this
area.
